I can only recommend this book to every Japan fan. The production value is really high combined with stunning photography and great content on 304 pages. This coffee table book is the best preparation for your next trip.

Japan is full of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. I have visited already many of them and this book did a great job of preparing me for these trips. In summary, the pictures are great and the content on 208 pages is well written.

One of the reasons why I love this country so much is the unique traditional Japanese architecture. This book with its 170 photographs on 480 pages captures the essence of the Eastern minimalism style. For me, it is one of the most beautiful books about Japanese interiors.

I had the opportunity, during my visits to Kyoto, to stay there in traditional Machiya guest houses. The experience was so fascinating that I wanted to know more about these unique houses, which are used as private residences or properties operating as businesses.
