Facts & Figures

The architecture of flag ship stores from brands like Prada, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada, Dior and many more is really unique and worth a visit. In 2005 Omotesando Hills, a huge shopping complex (130 stores), opened its doors for the public. The designer for this building was the famous Japanese architect Tadao Ando.

  • take JR Yamanote Line to Harajuku Station or
  • Fukutoshin and Chiyoda Subway Lines to Meijijingu-mae Station or
  • Ginza, Chiyoda and Hanzomon Subway Line to Omotesando Station

Saint Patrick's Day Festival (17th)
The largest Saint Patrick's Day parade in Asia is held in Omotesando. Enjoy a Guinness beer and watch Irish bands, cheerleaders and great historical costumes.

August

Harajuku Omotesando Genki Matsuri Super Yosakoi (end of August)
This is the largest yosakoi dance festival in Tokyo. Enjoy 2 days of music and watch the performances of 99 teams and 6000 dancers.
