The centerpiece of this complex is the 54-story Mori Tower (238m). Roppongi Hills is also called a city within the city. It is this unique mixture of apartments, movie theaters, shops, office space, a museum, hotel, parks which makes the area so attractive for working and living.

History
It took more than seventeen years from the first sketches till the completion of the Roppongi Hills project in 2003 by property tycoon Minoru Mori.

Roppongi Hills Bon Odori (19th till 21st)
A huge festival with many people wearing yukata (summer kimono). Enjoy the Bon Odori dance and the good food. Bon Odori is a dancing style performed during Obon.
September
Roppongi ARK Hills Aki Matsuri
Bon Odori (Bon dance) starts at around 6:00 pm. Enjoy the food stands and the sound of drums.
