"Himeji Castle is easy to describe: big, beautiful, outstanding, and without doubt a highlight for every Japan visitor. I arrived in the city of Himeji by Shinkansen from Osaka. From the main station, it was just a short walk to the castle. Once you see it in all its glory it is just spectacular and much larger than expected. For years I used the image of Himeji castle as my screensaver and to be there in real was a dream come true moment."
