"During my many visits to Tokyo, I was always excited to see the ever-changing skyline of this megacity. Once I heard of this new broadcasting tower project called Tokyo Skytree I followed the progress of the construction from 2008 to 2012. I took this photo on my way from Narita Airport to Utsunomiya. It was a great moment for me when the tallest broadcasting tower in the world opened to the public. The view from the observation deck was breathtaking."
