"I was sitting quietly at this place for 30 minutes and studied the structure of the sand patterns and the positioning of the 15 stones in the famous rock garden of the Ryoan-ji Temple in Kyoto. It doesn’t matter how long your travel to-do list is for Kyoto, but this temple and UNESCO World Heritage Site should be part of it. The beauty of this scenery had a long-lasting impression on me."
