"I always had the dream of combining 2 of my favorite things in Japan. One is visiting Kyoto and seeing the city during the cherry blossom season. Sometimes the cherry blossom season can last only for 1 week and timing is everything. I made a spontaneous decision to book a cheap ticket in April from Amsterdam to Osaka and my dream came true. I stayed one week in Kyoto with the best weather and enjoyed the blossoming Sakura trees. The picture was taken along the Kamo River where I took a break from intense sightseeing."
