"The boat tour along the wild coastline of the Iwate Prefecture within the Rikuchu-Kaigan National Park was a great experience. The air was fresh and clear after the heavy rain had stopped and the clouds were still hanging deep over the dense forest. Many people tend to forget that nearly 70% of Japan is covered by forests. These wild areas are in a steep contrast with places like Tokyo and Osaka."
