"With its height of 46m, the Yasaka Pagoda is majestically hovering over the roofs of the historical Higashiyama District in Kyoto. It is incredible that the foundation of the third-highest wooden building in the city is dating back to 592. The whole area is full of great sightseeing spots like the Kodai-ji or Kiyomizu-dera Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but the pagoda was my highlight."
